INSPIRED by 2020 late summer sunlight, Remote is an intimate expression of solitude, yearninging, and painfully strange beauty of a season spent
with oneself. Shadow and texture embody a gamut of emotion and expression, mirroring the COVID-era experiences the audience feels within itself. Subtle illusions of motion and color convey a sense of disquiet. IMPERFECT poses where the body melts into the set express the endless blur of monotony in space during quarantine. Using subtle movement, we play with the notion of time, and ones sense of time and place within this strange era. The subsequent interview and published piece cane be viewed here: Remote – A Chat With the Artists.
