In prep for the 2019 World Series, Adidas Baseball needed custom
graphics for the winning team’s celebratory fan gear. I was tasked
with illustrations for the Astros, which for easy-to-google reasons
never saw the light of day. The results were a vintage space helmet
for Carlos Correa and a batting glove making Alex Bregman’s
signature hand sign. Using Houston team colors and halftone
textures, the result was bold and playfully retro.
