This ongoing project is influenced by the emerging anthropological field of memory studies, and how our lived experiences shape how we perceive our pasts. I am hugely influenced by history, its study, and how its understanding or lack thereof shapes humanity, Why do we remember what we do, and how do the subconscious choices our memories make determine who we become? I continue to explore this question visually; why do some everyday items lay weighty with invisible context, significance, and symbolism?
